Ontario Wants More Organic
Ontario Organic is Growing, but Not Fast Enough
In 2016-2017, the Organic Council of Ontario consulted over 600 experts and stakeholders on the future of the organic sector in Ontario. We wanted to know how to help the sector grow to meet Ontario’s growing demand.
Through this research, we determined that stable funding is required to achieve the priorities of Ontario's organic sector. To fulfill the need for funding, a "check-off" is proposed for organic products. In this website, you'll find all the results of our research, details on the check-off proposal, and information on how this proposal will improve the organic sector overall. Most importantly, you'll find out how you can take action to grow Ontario Organic!
